Todd G. Knickerbocker, 69, of Cincinnatus, NY, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at his home, while surrounded by his loving family.
Todd was born in Cortland, NY, on April 4, 1954, a son of the late Henry and Patricia Glezen Knickerbocker. A lifelong resident of this area, he was a 1972 graduate of Cincinnatus Central School. Prior to his retirement, he, along with his brothers, owned and managed the Knickerbocker Country Club in Cincinnatus. He was also a life member and past president of the Cincinnatus Fire Department. Todd was a huge fan of Disney and visited Disney World each year for several years.
He is survived by his life partner of 28 years, Sharon Waters; and children, Trudy (Stephen) Aleba and Heather (Jason) Wright, all of Whitney Point. He also leaves behind his stepchildren, Dennis and Nicole Roe; grandchildren, Stevie Cea DePew, Katurah Aleba, Brandon Wright, Nathan Simmons, and Madison Simmons; brothers, Donald (Pam) Knickerbocker of Cortland, Robert Knickerbocker of Lansing, MI, Mark Knickerbocker of Cincinnatus, and Kim (Cheryl) Knickerbocker of Cincinnatus; his stepmother, Brenda Knickerbocker of Marathon; his uncle, Francis (Ann) Knickerbocker of South Otselic; several nieces and one nephew.
The family will be present to receive friends at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY, on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor George Carruth officiating.
