Samantha Magarian-Rainbow

Samantha Magarian-Rainbow, 39, of North Pitcher, NY, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2010, at Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich, NY.

Samantha was born in Cortland, NY on October 8, 1971, a daughter of the late William and Dora Grewe Magarian. She was a 1989 graduate of Otselic Valley Central School and received her Bachelor's degree from Elmira College in 1993. For the past three years, she has been employed by Carrier Corporation in Syracuse, NY.

She is survived by her husband, Mathew Rainbow, at home; and two brothers, Matthew (Trina) Magarian of Delphi Falls, NY and Thomas Magarian of Maine. She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home on Saturday, November 13, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. with Jeanne Angell officiating. Burial will be in North Pitcher Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Samantha may be directed to the South Otselic Fire Department, S.
