Raymond J. Billings

Raymond J. Billings, 65, of Willet, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at the Wilson Memorial Hospital, after becoming ill at home. 

Ray was born in Cortland, NY, a son of the late Raymond and Jessie Salisbury Billings. A longtime resident of the area, he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Ray loved to spend time with his wife, children and grandchildren. 

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Standish Billings; and his sons, Mark (Jessica) Billings and Bradley (Alycia Lamb-Billings) Billings, all of Willet. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Nevaeh, Logan, Wren, and Gracyn; a brother, Kenneth (Teresa) Billings of North Carolina, sisters, Alice (Kenneth) Hatch of Pitcher and Tammy Billings of Nashville, TN; several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Willet Sr. Center, Willet, NY.
