Paulette Elaine Gasrel

Paulette Elaine (Ponchause) Gasrel, 94, of Patchogue, LI, NY, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022, at the Long Island Community Hospital, Brookhaven, LI, NY.

Paulette was born in Lyon, France, on April 24, 1928, the daughter of the late Gaston and Margerite LePage Ponchause.  Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a chamber maid for the E. Hampton South Motel.

She is survived by her children, Fred Gasrel, of Patchogue, Lorraine Gasrel Black of WA, June (Newell) Gasrel Tibbetts of TX, and Marie (Robert) Gasrel Videl of McDonough.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren, David Black, Adam Black, Paulette Tibbetts, Candi Greenway, Skipper Tibbetts, and Samantha Rose Videl; four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Gasrel, on October 31, 1997; and a son, Patrick Gasrel in 1971.
