Norma L. Casler

Norma L. Casler, 50, of Cuyler, NY, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2012, at her home, following a brief illness.

Norma was born in Syracuse, NY on December 21, 1961, a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Cooter Hare, Sr.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, H. Ivan Casler of Cuyler; and her children, Sunshine (Mike Shelby) Casler of Cuyler, Cathy (David) Eldridge of Fabius, Connie (Ricky Marshall) Casler of Otselic, Ivy Casler, Shane Casler, Ashley Casler, and David Casler, all of Cuyler. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Breanna, Layla, Kaylee, Taylor, David, Trevor, Izac, and Andrew; sisters, Linda Miller of TN, Della Belonge of Syracuse and Lavina Hare of Tully; and brothers, Chuck Hare of TN, Sal Hare of Oswego, and Will Hare of Syracuse; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant son, Harold Ivan Casler, III in 1992.

A memorial service will be held at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY on Monday, February 20, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Archie Smith officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the start of the service at 1:00 p.m.
