Matthew (Matt) Graham

Matthew (Matt) Graham, 31, of Norwich, NY passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA after a brief illness, while surrounded by his loving family.

Matt was born December 15, 1993 in Binghamton NY, a son of Ray and Amy Graham. Matt grew from a sweet boy into a 31-year-old man loved beyond measure. His body struggled in ways we couldn’t fix, but he stepped into Heaven, to no longer be bound by the disabilities he carried here. Matt’s mind struggled with developing, but his soul spoke volumes. If you ever met him, you saw it in his gaze - a quiet understanding, a love that mirrored yours. He touched lives, some for years, others in passing moments, and left an imprint of grace on us all.

Matt left as a hero, giving life to others through his selfless gift. He’ll watch over us, just as we’ve watched over him, until we meet again in Heaven - where we’ll know him instantly, whole and radiant.

Matt leaves behind his father Ray Graham of Norwich, NY; mother Amy Graham of N. Pitcher NY; brother Luke Graham of Cincinnatus; half-sisters Hannah and Abby Swisher of Cortland NY; as well as his grandparents; Jim (Lori) Rice of Cincinnatus, NY; Howard (Lonnie) Graham of Norwich, NY; Bill Manheim of S. New Berlin, NY; Alice (Mike) Loparco of Cortland, NY and; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and health aides who will miss him dearly.

Matt is predeceased by his grandmother, Nancy Manheim.

Matthew’s final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
