Kevin M. Loomis, 62, of McDonough, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City, NY.

Kevin was born in Massena, NY, on January 13, 1957, the son of the late William and Dolores Barnhart Loomis.  He was a 1976 graduate of Cincinnatus Central School and a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Cincinnatus.  For 29 years, he had worked as a supervisor in both the recycling and landfill departments for the Chenango County DPW, retiring a short time ago.  Kevin was a devoted and loving husband and proud father of his sons.  He loved life and always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye.

He is survived by his wife, Chrystal Brown Loomis; and his sons, William (Marissa Giambrone) Loomis, Bryant (Alexis Cino) Loomis, Nick Loomis, and Dustin Loomis.  He also leaves behind a sister, Darlene (Mark) Stap; his mother-in-law, Terena (Dale) Loomis; his father-in-law, Ernie (Nancy) Brown; several aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will be present to receive friends at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY, on Monday, June 24, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  A memorial service will be held at the United Presbyterian Church of Cincinnatus on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor George Carruth officiating.  Expressions of sympathy in memory of Kevin may be sent to the United Presbyterian Church of Cincinnatus, P.O. Box 149, Cincinnatus, NY 13040.
