KayAnn Tracey

KayAnn Tracey, 60, of Cincinnatus, NY, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at the Guthrie Cortland Regional Nursing Facility, Cortland, NY.

Born in Cortland, NY, on February 5, 1960, KayAnn was the daughter of the late Bruce and Lois Morey McDonald.  She had worked as an environmental health and safety officer at Marietta Corporation for 27 years.  After leaving Marietta, she had worked as a resident care aide at the Elizabeth Brewster House.  She had also served as the tax collector for the Town of Cincinnatus for several years.

She is survived by her siblings, Emma (Denny Eaton) Keator of Cincinnatus, Wayne (Melanie) McDonald of Brewerton, Blanche (John) Sewell of Albany, Bernice Zolla of Truxton, David (Kathy) McDonald of McGraw, and Hugh (Terry) McDonald of German.  She also leaves behind a sister-in-law, Amanda McDonald of Allentown, PA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Keith McDonald, on February 5, 1990.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Taylor Rural Cemetery.  There will be no prior calling hours or funeral service.  Expressions of sympathy in memory of KayAnn may be directed to the NYS Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation, Albany, NY 12238 or to Bowman Lake State Park, 745 Bliven Sherman Road, Oxford, NY 13830.
