Karl J. Rogers, 81, passed away unexpectedly at his home in McGraw, NY on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

Karl was born on August 20, 1943, in Cortland, New York, the son of the late Richard and Margaret Fuller Rogers. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, whose presence will be sorely missed all who knew him.

Karl dedicated many years to his career as the owner and operator of Karl Rogers Trucking in McGraw, a profession that reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to his community. His contributions to the local area and the relationships he built through his work were a testament to his character and integrity.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rita Hammon Rogers, with whom he shared over 60 years of marriage. Karl was a devoted father to his daughter, Wanda (Gerald) Ryan, and his son, Karl (Jessica) Rogers, Jr., as well as a loving brother to Michael (Mary) Rogers of Cortland, and his brother-in-law, Rick Hammon. His legacy continues through his nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William, Jerry, and Robert Rogers.
