Josephine T. Widrick

Josephine T. Widrick, 80, of South Otselic, NY, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011, at the Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich, NY.

Born in Queens, NY, on May 30, 1931, Mrs. Widrick was a daughter of the late George and Theresa Taylor. A longtime resident of the area, she was a member of the South Otselic United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School several years ago.

She is survived by her sons, Charles Widrick and Bruce Widrick, both of South Otselic; her daughters, Linda Widrick and Joyce (Charles) Dockery, both of Tucson, AZ. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Michele Putnam of Tucson, AZ, and Sandra Fanelli of Perkiomenville, PA; her great-grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn, Brittany Ann, and Kayla Putnam, Emily Fanelli, and Elizabeth and Eva Fanelli; and her brothers, George Taylor and James Taylor, both of Saugerties, NY.

She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard J. Widrick, in 2000.

Funeral services will be held at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY, on Wednesday, January 11 2012, at 10:00 a.m., with Jeanne Angell officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery in the spring of the year. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
