Jeffery Parker Brown

Jeffery Parker Brown, 46, of Grayson, KY, and formerly of Cincinnatus, NY, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV.

Jeff was born in Cortland, NY, on November 24, 1975, the son of Jerry and Pamela Kling Brown.  A longtime resident of the area, he was currently employed by Asphlundh Brush Control and prior to that had been employed by K.W. Reese.  He was a member of the Wilson Creek Baptist Church in Grayson, Kentucky.  An avid outdoorsman, Jeff enjoyed working on his small farm, hunting and was a member of the McGraw Sportsman Club.  A loving husband, father, and son, Jeff was very family-oriented and loved them all dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda Whorrall Brown; and his children, Caleb and Katie Brown, all of Grayson, KY; his mother and stepfather, Pam and Gary Davis of Grayson, KY; and his father and stepmother, Jerry and Lori Brown of Raleigh, NC.  He also leaves behind his siblings, Zeb Davis of McGraw, NY, Zenta (Don) Smith of McGraw, NY, Teri (Chris) Mayle of CT, B.J. (Aleta) Moffett of FL, Mandi Holt of VA, Julie (Brian) Angone of VA, and Jacque (Derek) Garguilo of NC; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Marathon Memorial Chapel, 4071 State Route 221, Marathon, NY, on Saturday, March 5, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Memorial services will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Nathaniel Metzler officiating.
