Jane S. (Brown) White, 83, formerly of McDonough, NY, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013, at the NYS Veteran’s Home at Oxford.
A lifelong resident of this area, Jane was born in Pitcher, NY on September 9, 1930, a daughter of the late Earle and Verna Doupe Brown.
She is survived by her children, Judy Frycek of Horseheads, Joseph (Bernice) White of Pitcher, Rodney (Robin) White of Norwich, and Valerie (Troy) Miller of Pennsylvania. She also leaves behind her brothers, Paul David Brown of Cortland, Anthony Brown of Norwich, and Ronnie Brown of Cincinnatus; a brother-in-law, Bill Tei, of Cincinnatus; sisters-in-law, Janette Richer of Norwich and Ginny Brown of S. Plymouth; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Malcolm White, in 2005; brothers, Rodney, Mark, Robert, George, and Clifford; and a sister, Cathy Tei.
Funeral services will be held at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend James Hundley officiating. Burial will be in Wayside Rest Cemetery, Pharsalia. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 12:30 p.m. until the start of the service at 2:30 p.m.
