Gerald J. Bush

Gerald J. Bush, 89, of Cortland, NY, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at the Guthrie Cortland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Cortland, NY.

Mr. Bush was born in Truxton, NY, on October 9, 1933, the son of the late Seymour and Iva Hamilton Bush.  He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.  He retired from Pall Trinity where he was employed as a welder.  Prior to that, he had been employed at Brockway Motors.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Bowering Bush; and his children, Steven (Annette) Bush of Cortland, Glenn (Jeanne) Bush of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and David (Karen) Bush of Lynchburg, VA.  He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Kyle Bush of Cortland and John Bush of Lynchburg, VA; and a special nephew, Paul Rehbein of Mattydale.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
