Eva J. Euson, 80, of McGraw, NY, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA, while surrounded by her three lovely daughters.
Born in Cortland, NY, on August 18, 1939, Eva was the daughter of the late Ernest and Carrie Genson Thompson. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed at Smith-Corona and was a member of the McGraw American Legion Auxiliary. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing crossword and word search puzzles.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary (Thomas) Livermore of Cincinnatus, Carol Witty of Cincinnatus, and Candy (Gerald) Thorp of Cortland; her stepchildren, Randy (Linda) Euson, Linda (Royal) Stevens all of Cincinnatus, and Char Deselms of Seattle, WA. She also leaves behind a sister, Dorla Place of WY; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Euson, in 1994; and a stepson, Stanley “Stub”.
The family will be present to receive friends at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY, on Sunday, February 16, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Burial will be at a later date in McGraw Cemetery. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. with Fred M.S. Downs officiating.
