Donnal J. Bush

Donnal J. Bush, 74, of Dryden, NY, and formerly of Cincinnatus, NY, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020, at the Cortland Regional Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Cortland, NY, while surrounded by his family.

Don was born in Chenango, NY, on March 27, 1946, the son of the late Hayden and Genevieve Angell Bush.  For many years, he operated his own dairy farm in Cincinnatus.  He had also worked for Brockway Truck in Cortland for 18 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Patricia Jensen Bush; and his children, Tommy Bush of WI, Heidi (Matt) Thompson of Virgil, Parrish (Rose) Bush of Virgil, and Jenna Bush of Dryden.  He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Jake, Justin, Brynn, Jonelle, Nathan, Dylan, Hayden, and Carsen; many great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Martha) Bush of Homer; and a sister, Beverly (Al) Munson of Ithaca.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Mindie Walder.

The family will be present to receive friends at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY, on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  NY State Covid-19 guidelines will be followed.  Masks must be worn and social distancing will be in place.  A graveside service will be held immediately following visitation at the Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden.  Expressions of sympathy in memory of Don may be directed to the ASPCA, 879 McLean Road, Cortland, NY 13045.
