Dawn M. (Pescatore) Marion

Dawn M. (Pescatore) Marion, 90, formerly of Willet, NY, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Groton Community Health Care Center, Groton, NY.

Born in Pompton Lakes, NJ, on October 17, 1932, Mrs. Marion was the daughter of the late Albert and Clara Baldwin Pescatore.  She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Cincinnatus.

She is survived by her children, Claude W. Marion III of Ocala, FL, Rhoda Stubaus of Ocala, FL, David Marion of Pennsylvania, Robin Horton of Cortland, Clara Marion of Michigan, Todd Marion of Tennessee, Claudia Maki of Cortland, and Tracey Marion of Cortland.  She also leaves behind 24 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Claude Marion, in 1987.

Funeral services will be held at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY, on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Brown officiating.  Burial in Lower Cincinnatus Cemetery will be at a later date in the spring.  The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the start of the service at 3:00 p.m.
