Calvin P. Wentworth, 70, of North Pitcher, NY, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at his home.
Calvin was born in Cortland, NY, on December 9, 1948, the son of the late Guy Pierce and Winifred Wood Wentworth. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era Conflict. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by the NYS DOT as an equipment operator.
He is survived by his children, Katherine (James) Forrester of Wintergarten, FL, James Wentworth of Rochester, and Steven (Li) Wentworth of San Diego, CA. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Morgan, Lawson, and Emily; his brothers, David Wentworth of S. Otselic, William (Caroline) Wentworth of S. Otselic, and Craig (Bonnie) Wentworth of N. Pitcher; his sisters, Ann (Ira) Gelber of Cobleskill, Jan Wentworth of Sherburne, Kay Buhler of Yorketown Heights, and Kim (Dick Tracy) Wentworth of Homer; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, John Wentworth.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
