Brenda Lee Breed

Brenda (Benjamin) Breed, 53, of Cincinnatus, NY, peacefully entered Heaven at 2:33 am on Monday, January 16th at home surrounded by close loved ones.

She was born April 12, 1963 in Cortland, NY, to Walter Lewis Benjamin and Suzie (Benjamin) Brown. She married her high school sweetheart, Douglas James Breed, on July 19, 2003.

Surviving her are her husband, Douglas Breed; daughter, Lorie (Darnell) Bethel; son, Jamie Breed;sisters, Teresa Swayze, Debbie (Robert) Terry; brother, Roger (Koreen) Benjamin; step-sisters, Connie (Larry) McFarland, Linda (Mick) Eccleston, Chris (Mike) Aiken, Jan (Rich) Sloane; and step-brother, Brian (Debbie) Houck.  Also surviving her are her grandchildren, Daryen and Navaria Bethel, and many extended family and friends.  She touched the lives of all that knew her and her smile always brightened any room. Her positive outlook on life was contagious and she will be greatly missed by many.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the Willet Fire Station in Willet, NY, Saturday January 21st at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The American Cancer Society, 13 Beech St, Johnson City, NY 13790.   The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Hospice and Palliative Care of Chenango County, Broome Oncology in Johnson City, and Family Health Network of Cincinnatus for all services and care offered.  They would also like to thank Kevin L. Sharp for his assistance with arrangements.
