Betty Jane Stark

Betty Jane Stark, 84, of German, NY, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at the Hopkins House, Binghamton, NY.

Born in Kansas City, MO, on January 26, 1931, Mrs. Stark was the daughter of the late Gladys Smith.  A resident of the area for the past several years, she was a member of the Living Word Christian Center, Greene, NY.

She is survived by her children, Tina (Terry) Garman of VA, Mary Jo (Steven) Rodriquez of FL, and Joseph V. Stark, Jr., of Castle Creek.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Kellie Johansen, Christopher Marshall, and Johanna Jane Stark; and her great-grandchildren, Shane, McKayla, Ian, Corbin, Gavin, and Aubrey.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Stark, Sr., on September 17, 2009.

A graveside service will be held at the Westview Cemetery, German, NY, on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Joshua Kiefer officiating.  There will be no prior calling hours or funeral service.  Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mrs. Stark may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O.
