Belle Bonham

Belle Bonham, 82, of Pitcher, NY, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at the Chenango Memorial Nursing Facility, Norwich, NY.

Mrs. Bonham was born in Anderson, SC on September 21, 1928. A longtime resident of this area, she retired from Highgate Manor Nursing Home where she was employed as an LPN.

She is survived by her sons, James (Rose Mary) Bonham of NC, Chester Bonham of Warsaw, William (Leah) Bonham of Cincinnatus, and George (Jaq) Bonham of Cortland. She also leaves behind a daughter-in-law, Lucinda Bonham of Pitcher; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Chester Bonham, Jr. in 1993; a son, Neal Bonham in 2006; and a daughter-in-law, Sally Bonham in 2003.

Funeral services will be held at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home on Monday, August 15, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Palmer Neumeister officiating. Burial will be in Lower Cincinnatus Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., prior to the service.
